12v Garden Rock Lights (LuxRox – Slate Grey)
The fantastic LuxRox 12v outdoor rock lights are realistic, ornamental and practical. In daylight, the stylish Slate Grey finish naturally blends in with garden or landscape colours and surroundings; at night they provide an attractive light and also act as Waymarkers, glowing elegantly along pathways, borders and rockeries. The rock lights are made from fibreglass so are durable and weatherproof.
The Slate Grey finish is very convincing and is available in 4 different sizes. The two smaller sized 12v electric rock lights house 1 x G4 bulb holder, whilst the two larger rocks accommodate 2 x G4 bulb holders to produce a sufficient glow for the size. LED lamps can, therefore, be replaced, ensuring long life, low running costs and an array of bulb options when it comes to brightness and colour.
A finned anchor ground spike is supplied with each 12-volt garden rock lights which can be mounted in earth, grass or gravel to ensure the rock remains securely in position. Supplied with 3m of Versa Plug & Play Cable (12v), installation couldn’t be simpler.
Have you ordered your Transformer?
All mains powered 12v lights require a transformer to convert a standard 220-240V power supply to 12v. A range of sizes (watts) are available, dependent on the number of lights you wish to power. Warmer colour temperatures have a less disruptive impact on wildlife and help reduce star-warping. For instance, bats are less affected by red-toned lights, which produce orange or yellow hues, compared to cooler, daylight white or blue lights higher in the spectrum. Blue light, being the most harmful for light pollution, should be minimised. The best solution is to use colour temperatures of 3000K or lower, with 2700K often referred to as “bat-friendly” lighting.
