2 Way Copper Step Light
The DuoMarka Copper Step Light has two conical sections on one side of the top of the fitting. As a result, this creates 180º diffusion of light through a clear lens, without glare. It is suitable for illuminating steps and outlining other areas in the garden. Due to it’s versatile design, it can be mounted in the ground, walls or decking. The bezel and body are high quality, natural copper. It has a traditional appearance and blends in with natural surroundings.
The slightly domed surface is the ideal shape for mounting on decking, a patio or any other areas, ideal when a walk over facility is required. The threaded front copper bezel attaches to a copper body. This screws together with no external screws or fixings for a neater overall finish. In addition, no tools are required to change the MR16 lamp (LED recommended).
The robust black plastic sleeve is supplied to protect the copper and assist with installation. It is important that the sleeving must be built into the wall during construction or retrofitted into a drilled out hole. Following this, the copper step light pushes into the sleeving where it is held firmly in place, leaving only the streamline front bezel on show.
Important Information
This fitting must be installed with the mounting sleeve and additional rubber seal. The Guarantee will be void if the sleeving and seal is not used. Not for use in areas prone to water-logging or flooding.

Warmer colour temperatures have a less disruptive impact on wildlife and help reduce star-warping. For instance, bats are less affected by red-toned lights, which produce orange or yellow hues, compared to cooler, daylight white or blue lights higher in the spectrum. Blue light, being the most harmful for light pollution, should be minimised. The best solution is to use colour temperatures of 3000K or lower, with 2700K often referred to as “bat-friendly” lighting.
