Airlite & Airlite Stream – Anodised Aluminium Path Light (12V Plug & Play)
The Airlite and Airlite Stream path lights are crafted from high quality 3mm thick anodised aluminium. Airlite is a contemporary, elegant path light, and is available in heights of 400mm or 600mm. As well as the standard Airlite with 108mm diameter, a slimline version is also available with a 90mm diameter this is the Airlite Stream. This VERSA Plug & Play 12V path light couldn’t be simpler to install. The 3m cable supplied is capped with a 2 pin plug which simply plugs directly into a transformer (or splitter if multiple fittings are installed). The transformer (sold separately) plugs into a mains socket and it is ready to go making 12V systems very versatile and perfectly suited to outdoor settings due to the low voltage.
The 12V post light accommodates a replaceable LED MR16 which are available in a number of wattages and colours. It is often thought that low voltage lights are not as bright as mains voltage but this is not the case. Use dichroic coloured lenses with the LED bulb to create beautiful colour effects.
The durability of the path light combines with the eye-catching ‘bubble’ effect in the substantial solid resin head. Once illuminated, it acts as a standard path light and as an uplighter. If placed beneath trees the effect is amazing!
The highly weatherproof IP65 12V path light will look great in any size surrounding – small, modern gardens to smart commercial premises. It has a sturdy fixed base with 4 installation holes. A photocell ‘Dusk to Dawn’ version of each size is also available for security and energy conscious users. These automatically turn on when it is dark and off again when light.

Warmer colour temperatures have a less disruptive impact on wildlife and help reduce star-warping. For instance, bats are less affected by red-toned lights, which produce orange or yellow hues, compared to cooler, daylight white or blue lights higher in the spectrum. Blue light, being the most harmful for light pollution, should be minimised. The best solution is to use colour temperatures of 3000K or lower, with 2700K often referred to as “bat-friendly” lighting.

Surface mount bollards are installed on top of an existing solid surface, such as concrete or asphalt. Depending on the surface various types of bolts can be used, with expanding anchor bolts being one of the most secure options. They are a versatile option for locations where digging into the ground isn’t feasible or where temporary installation is preferred. These bollards offer easy installation and relocation, making them ideal for flexible or non-permanent applications.
Surface mounted bollards can be securely fixed to the ground using J-bolts. These would be attached to the surface mount with the bolts sunk into a wet concrete base, rather than the tube buried in the ground. This installation method provides a strong, stable foundation while allowing for easy removal or replacement if needed. These bollards are ideal for permanent installations in areas where digging or extensive groundwork is not an option, offering both durability and flexibility.
Surface mount bollards with in-ground spikes are designed to be anchored to soft ground with a spike that drives into the ground beneath the bollard. This method offers strong stability while being easier to install than traditional root mounts, as it requires no concrete or extensive digging. They are a great choice for private locations where a secure yet removable bollard is needed, providing a durable solution with quick and easy installation.
